Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
