Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, website pricing, and here the here bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
